The event's primary objective is to demonstrate how contemporary traffic monitoring challenges can be effectively addressed utilizing preferred tools. Additionally, attendees will gain insights into monitoring challenges and gain a comprehensive understanding of the latest advancements in ntop and Wireshark.
What to expect from this event:
- Practical guidance on solving real-world packet-related challenges
- Discovery of the latest features offered by ntop and Wireshark
- Opportunities to connect with like-minded individuals
- Inspiration from industry experts who share their acquired knowledge
- The chance to contribute to the development of future roadmap items by providing feedback and insights

«The Packet Factor» – new Wireshark course on network security
My long-time colleague Walter Hofstetter is the author and leader of this course and a luminary in the field of network analysis and security.
The course 'The Packet Factor' shows how Wireshark can be used in the area of intrusion detection and prevention at the packet level to detect network manipulation and attacks. There is currently no comparable course on the market with this combination and this level of detail.

New Network TAP ETAP-2003
A Network TAP (Test Access Point), or Ethernet Tap, is a hardware device placed inline along a network link to capture live data traffic across the network link, which is sent to security or monitoring tools.
The Dualcomm ETAP-2003 is a new Network Tap with a small portable form factor and being USB powered make it an ideal network traffic sniffing device for monitoring and troubleshooting data traffic in a 10/ 100/ 1000 Ethernet network.
The ETAP-2003 supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) Pass-Through and will not block the end-to-end flow of PoE inline power, which is a very useful feature for monitoring data traffic from and to PoE devices like VoIP Phone, WLAN Access-Point, IP-Cameras etc.
We are pleased to offer our trainings all over Europe in German or English, but we deliver goods only to destinations within Switzerland.
